Why temporal alignment matters
TokenAlign began from research showing that LLMs can fail on temporal reasoning across languages, date formats, calendars, time zones, and historical or future periods.
Model size alone does not solve the problem. Tokenization and date fragmentation often create hidden weaknesses, especially in low-resource and non-Gregorian contexts.
